About

Autumn Bendall

Artist | Costume Designer | Project Manager

Autumn is an NYC and Orlando based artist and costume designer. She began her costuming career at Universal Studios Orlando as a Wardrobe Supervisor at Fear Factor Live and the SuperStar Parade. She studied Film and Art at the University of Central Florida where she found her calling as a costumer on student film productions. After fulfilling a lifelong dream of moving to New York in 2014, she began to work as a Dresser and Wardrobe Supervisor Off-Broadway. Eventually she was hired as the Costume Shop Manager, Costume Design and Logistics at RWS Entertainment Group (now RWS Global) and is an award-winning Costume Designer (Winner of the 2019 Travel Weekly Gold Magellan Award for Best Production Shows on Azamara Cruises). Her work can be seen on cruise ships and at theme parks worldwide.

In 2020 she began her art business, Pincushion Pinups, as a way to cultivate her passion for creating art. Though much of her focus is on pinup girls with a spooky or kitschy twist, she also creates cross stitch, rhinestone sculptures, paintings, and sewn crafts. She does the craft show circuit, some favorites being Dark Force Fest in Parsippany, NJ and Queens Craft Brigade in Astoria, Queens.

Currently she is a Freelance Costume Designer, Artist, and Project Manager specializing in musical theatre, theme park entertainment, and ballet.
